Resindion Privacy and Security Policy

In accordance with the GDPR N. 2016/679, the Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, as modified by the Legislative Decree No. 101/2018 Resindion S.r.l. (“RESINDION”) gives the following notice to its customers, including visitors and customers accessing RESINDION website (www.resindion.com) (the “Site”):

(a) Definitions. Terms defined in the Sale Terms (or the On-Line Sale Terms) shall have the same meaning(s) in this privacy notice.

(b) Navigation. RESINDION will not acquire your personal data when you simply navigate the Site.

(c) Cookies. RESINDION uses “cookies” only for the management of the Site, the online ordering process and the trend analysis of general traffic. RESINDION does not identify your system or collect information from your hard disk. You are not identified by name or e-mail address but just by a numerical series automatically assigned by RESINDION processor at the time of your first access to the Site.

(d) Registration for Download of Technical Information. When you request the download of specific technical information on the Products, or when you contact directly Resindion Customer Service by e-mail, fax or telephone, you will be requested to fill in a form with your personal data.

(e) Registration for Purchases of Products. When you enter RESINDION Shop for the purpose of purchasing any Product, or you submit any orders for the purchase of Products by e-mail, fax or telephone to Resindion Customer Service, you will be requested to complete your registration form with additional personal data (including VAT registration number and any other evidence that you represent a business rather than a private consumer).

(f) Management of Personal Data. Your personal data will be managed in full compliance with the Privacy Code.

(g) Data transfer. RESINDION will communicate your personal data exclusively to Mitsubishi Chemical and/or subsidiaries based in Japan, in the European Union or outside the European Union, and/or to third parties such as agents and distributors of the Products, consultants and advisors (lawyers, accountants, auditors, technical managers of the Site, etc.), who will be bound by specific confidentiality agreements, that guarantee the same level of protection and management of personal data as foreseen by EU Regulation 2016/679 dated April 27th 2016.Such communication will always and exclusively be made for the purposes indicated below.

(h) Use of Personal Data. Your personal data will be used for the following purposes:
(I) Processing of your order(s) for Products and all actions related to the performance of the sale transaction(s) entered into with you;
(II) Supply of all necessary technical and commercial assistance related to the Products;
(III) Operating and strategic marketing, including delivery of advertising and promotional materials on all products and services of the Mitsubishi Chemical Group;
(IV) Surveys of customer satisfaction; and
(V) Marketing research and analysis.

(i) Consent. Your consent is explicitly made through registration on the site following the display of this information.
Personal data will be stored for 12 months, if they have not been subject to revocation of consent pursuant to Article 7, paragraph 3 of the GDPR.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the formal expression of consent before the exercise of the right of revocation. Once the storage term has expired, the data will be destroyed.

(j) Rights of interested parties. For the time period for storing the personal data of the interested parties referred to preceding paragraphs contents, the interested party may exercise the rights to:
• access, in order to confirm that personal data is being processed and to know its content and origin;
• rectification, cancellation, limitation and opposition to the treatment itself.

Pursuant to the same article, the user has the right to request cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, and to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, to their treatmenta

(m) Opt-out by Customer. At any time, you may request Resindion S.r.l. to interrupt the delivery of advertising or marketing communications, commercial offers for products and services, invitations for the participation at seminars, etc. to the same addresses.
